Don’t Meet The Spy

The talented Russians from Tetris-Inside have put together a kick ass spy tribute Team Fortress 2 machinima vid. Some real nice editing and camera work in this one.

I’m sure they’ve got some very intelligent TF2 commentary on their site, but not being able to read Russian, it kinda makes as much sense as most of the Pyro’s ramblings to me.

There’s a low-budget youtubery version out there as well if your bandwidth sucks.

    Excellent stuff. I love how I can play this game to bits, and months later I’m still hearing new (and awesome) sound bites.

    Interesting you mention that, even after 40hrs playing demoman, I just heard him say something new :)

    Ah, a very nicely made tribute. Hats to you, “Gentleman”!

    Great video.

    Spy is a fun class. Too bad I suck at it. I guess I’ll do what I did back when the game first came out and I realized I couldn’t do anything but medic (which was to go to pubs and play nothing but pyro)…

    How’d you get the spy on the bridge roof on 2 fort? Or at least it looked like you did. I thought only scouts, soldiers, and demomen could get up there.

    @Minzerta2010 - Very observant. I missed that.
    I’m guessing it was filmed on a private server with noclip enabled or something.

    Well, any class can get anywhere, as long as a demoman or soldier from the opposing team is kind enough to offer them an explosive jump… :)

    I’ve ended up on the roof of Gravelpit B as a spy after getting hit by a lucky rocket… disguised as soldier and got a LOT of healing off an enemy medic, there… :D

    Yeah, I realized you can get to some wierd places when an enemy soldier/demoman launches you. I was a sniper and I got launched onto the bridge roof by a sniper. It was kinda cool. ‘Til i got blown to bits by a demoman. :P
