More Medic Silliness
Perpetual double-medic ubersaw ubercharge!
Hopefully this gets nerfed soon. Probably just needs to be so that the ubersaw doesn’t charge your ubercharged while YOU are actually ubercharged.
Cheers to Janordy for the video
Part of the problem is that the other team is full of moron medics farming the new achievements that don’t have a clue how to play. Not sure if this would work as well against a better team.

I totally thought of this ~2 weeks before everything came out!
Glad to know that it works (and fearful of it happening to me).

It sounds pretty legitimate to me. It’s not an exploit nor a cheat nor a hack.
Although, the multi-uber seemed fine too but Valve nerfed that.
We’ll just have to see.

The ubersaw doesn’t give you the 25% uber if you whack enemy buildings or ubercharged enemies (you need to damage an enemy player).
I tried it for a bit with a friend, and it doesn’t really work unless you’re playing against a team of complete noobs - the first sentry gun you meet is the end of the ride.

Punjabi, he’s not saying it’s an exploit, he just means it’s overpowered and should be nerfed.

I think instead of eliminating the Über Saw’s ability out right while ÜberCharged, a hit should give you 1/8 or less charge instead of 1/4.

that was awesome! good coordination
but yeah, people just need to get out of the way and place sg to take them out

Let us see how this holds up against a sentry/demoman. I noticed they had hard time against an Soldier. But if the other team consists of Medics/Heavies/Pyros then this video is the result.

Yes, some proper knockback will separate the two medics, then it’s easy pickin’s.
Since there are other things don’t work under invincibility, I wouldn’t be surprised if the ubersaw is tweaked to be unable to charge when you’re all a-glowy.

On Gold Rush, there would be no time for Engineers to place Sentry Guns if these two Medics just kept bearing down on them before they could set anything outside their spawn, but it wouldn’t be difficult to knock them back with Soldiers or a Demo Man.

Why doesn’t the snipers take them out before they get a chance to begin the process? Or just take them out; a good headshot should soon put them in their place.
Of course, if they’re already ubered the best thing is just to stay well away from them so they can’t saw you XD Then all it takes is a sniper or two and they’re finished. It’s far from a gamebreaker anyway.

I’ve just been in a game where this happened, on the other team…
Yes, a demo charge under one of them, or a sentry knocking one back could stop this, but there was no realistic way it was going to happen. The two medics just charge at the nearest target sawwing away and the only sensible thing you can do is run away lest you fuel their charge even further.
They ended up charging into our spawn area and back out three times, while everyone flails to get out of their way. Good team work, it is. Good game play, it is not.
