hi,
please could we have a list of all the new maps on the server.
I just got really excited because i saw someone in there and was going to join then the the new map took forever to download. i ended up quitting and going to get it from FPSbanana. then to add to my frustration the map had changed when i got back!
good choice on the custom payload maps though! i have been after a custom payload server for a while. (well, a couple of days really.)

Its a map called pl_heights_db2 and is the pl_dustbowl_b3 map which has been optimised for payload game play. still recognisable as dust bowl but with a load of new/ different stuff.
I have not found a server with it on yet but from having a quick run around on it on my own it looks better than pl_dustbowl_b3

We’ll be doing a bit of work getting the server up and running over the next week or so. This page will get updated with links to the current running maps.

I fixed up your comments as well. The spam filter has been going crazy lately and eating a lot of legitimate posts.

Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to keep your server running per month? I’m thinking about keeping a server but not sure how much I should be paying.

The server is hosted through lowpings.net
Their prices are here
Basically it’s $1.49 per slot, per month. We’re running a 24 person, so I think would be about $35. Luke got us a special deal though, so I dunno how much exactly the ubercharged.net server costs.
